King Abdulaziz Air Base (DHA) is located in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province Dhahran about 7 kilometres southeast of the Saudi Aramco Dhahran camp. The commander of the airbase is Prince Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. 

This airport facility was built by the United States Air Force. It was then known as Dhahran Airfield. Between 1962 and 1999, it also served as a commercial facility earning itself the recognition of the busiest airports in the country.
