Regarded as the closest airport to the city of Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, Kansai International Airport (KIX) is nestled amidst Kankujima island by the Honshu Shore in Japan. This airport started operations in 1994 to relieve the former prominent airport of Osaka–Osaka International Airport, also known as, Itami Airport.
