Istanbul Ataturk Airport (ISL) is nestled in the heart of Istanbul. It was one of the busiest commercial airports in the country until 2019. This facility is now open to only cargo, air taxis, and business flights.

Ataturk Airport first started its operations in 1912 as a military field. It was previously called Yesilkoy Airport and was renamed Ataturk International Airport (ISL) after the first president of the Republic of Turkey.
