Petrolina Airport, also known as Petrolina-Senador Nilo Coelho Airport, is the airport serving Petrolina, Pernambuco, and Juazeiro, Bahia, Brazil. It is the main airport in the São Francisco River Valley and an important hub for cargo transportation. The airport is operated by CCR Aeroportos and has a capacity of 1.5 million passengers per year. It is located 11 kilometers from the city center of Petrolina.
The airport was inaugurated in 1933 and was originally named Campo de Aviação de Petrolina. It was renamed in 2002 in honor of Senator Nilo Coelho, a native of Petrolina. The airport has undergone several expansions over the years, the most recent of which was completed in 2014.
